    Crafter Blue problem.

I have just got my green Crafter Blue strap for my SPB103J1 or Sumo Hulk.
This is my 4th strap from CB,always been very happy with how they fit onto my watches.
    But not this time!!
The spring bar hole in the new green one is larger than the other 3.
The spring bars ( 1.78mm) that came with the strap are to small or the hole in the strap is to large. Which lets the strap move around and in turn causes a gap inbetween the strap and case.
I have tried fitting the strap to the watch with 2.5mm spring bars but to no avail. 1 side in but the other is just out.
    Thoughts please??

    Email / phone the supplier.

It seem strange to supply bars that are too small.
Would the thicker Seiko bars work?

I have a pair of 2.5mm, I think they came from Toxic Nato's. Tried them, fitted the hole's in the strap like a peach. But could not get one end in. As the saying goes it was a hair's breadth from fitting.
    A tad frustrating!!!

The problem could apply to a batch of green straps.

I think you may be right. I think it's very strange that all of my other's have the same smaller holes.

Def looks like a manufacturing error. When the supplied spring bars don't come close to fitting, there's something wrong.

I ordered a crafter blue for my mm when I still had it and they shipped one with bent hole and or wrong spring bars. I wasn't able to attach it to my sla017 at all. If you look at here, or watchuseek, you can see that they have been riddled with quality issues. In my case they were also very hostile towards solving my issue. Eventually when i threatened to resurrect the watchuseek thread they promised to send a new strap.

    Update.
Rang UK based supplier on Monday.
They sent me out some 2.0mm spring bars to try. Arrived Tuesday, fitted but alas same problem.
Whilst on the phone, was told if I was not 100% happy I could return the strap for a refund.
This has now been done, have asked them to check the strap I had against others they have in stock.
    Waiting to hear back.

Crafter Blue Green is now fitted to my Sumo The Hulk.
Had a new strap sent out with different sized spring bars from the retailer.
    Job done.
