How many posts do I need?
You also need to PM a scan of your photo ID to the site owner to prove you’re not a bot.

There is nothing wrong with a catch and release.

I don’t see an issue with a seller trying to recover his initial outlay as long as the watch is in the same condition.

OK i had a watch delivered today that interested me and it was an excellent price i opened the box tried it on and decided it was not for me so i re listed at what i paid ( i swallowed the RMSD) i could have listed on the bay for a lot more but decided not to , PM ‘d the seller and his response was it’s your watch do what you want and that is my attitude. If you the buyer think it’s not for you then walk away it’s called choice.

You can ask what you’d like, whether it sells or not that’s a different story.

‘Id like what I paid for it’. So should I list my 2014 BLNR for £5950?

In quite a few of the cases, the watch was purchased second hand, tried for a few weeks and was not a match to its new owner for whatever reason.

I know one can ask whatever they like for an item for sale and forum members will decide if its worth it to them, but is it a bit saucy to be looking for the same amount, effectively having a watch for free to try out for a few weeks?
You got it the wrong way round. The above is for when watches are appreciating in value
