I don’t think this is a limited edition per se, just one that’s got a limited initial release!

Oh I read that wrong then, sorry. If it's nothing to do with hodinkee then I'd be interested.

I really like the brown dial version that comes on the sand-coloured NATO, not too fussed on any of the other variants.

Opened this expecting to hate it - I actually quite like the look of it. Not enough to make me part with the cash, but I prefer it to the standard version.

First 500 to be sold through Hodinkee then released everywhere.

I've had two of these in stainless, the first a black dial and after I foolishly flipped it I got a brown dial. Both of mine were/are the 2801 versions but I'd expect the newer movement to run just as well.
