Great value though, and I have an advance set in the garage - they are great to replace the broken bits occasionally too

I missed phone call from Halfords this morning and feared the worst but voicemail informed me cardboard sleeve missing as was store display set, otherwise okay to collect.

The cardboard sleeve is surprisingly useful as it has a picture of the entire contents including what the tool is and it’s size - a useful reference to what you have in the box

Halfords do some great stuff.
I think the proffessional range is made by GearWrench USA from memory.
Sockets are really tough, and outstanding value for money.
I've tried loads of their ratchets, 1/4, 3/8, & 1/2 not so good. Rapid winding causes them to click into reverse direction, no biggie, but a pita when you're in a hurry.

I’ve bought quite a few tools from Halfords and can’t complain about any of them.

I also bought one of the tool trolleys (6ft tall) at a fantastic price. I’ve now a drawer with 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2” socket sets all side by side. That was one of their 3 for 2 deals.
