It also has a moon phase and triple calendar. I would suggest you contact auction houses not dealers
Hi all,
A friend of mine has asked me the best way to sell a pocket watch that she recently inherited. I don't know much about the market and wanted to ask if anyone here could give me/her some advice.
It is a Le Phare minute repeater chronograph with a hunter case back - it looks like this...
... Very nice indeed.
Does anyone know if there is a market for these? And if so, what would its value be? And finally is there a recommended dealer to chat to?
Many thanks...

A reputable auction house like Bonhams or Christies would be a good place to start. Here's a similar one to yours that sold for just over €4000 at a Dorotheum (the central European equivalent) sale a few years ago:

Very interesting - definitely a market. I was looking for one a while back, the biggest issue when buying is the service history. Risky business. Worth giving member Animalone a PM - he pointed me to a few and may be able to help you out.
That is a very nice looking pocket watch!!!!
Thanks all,
Very useful info, as always.
I have pmed Animalone and will continue to research before making a plan.
A Moonphase triple date minute repeater chronograph????
That is about as complicated as it is possible to get - it deserves a specialist auction, without doubt.
