    Student accommodation Bristol

Just thought I'd ask here first as I know there are a few Bristolians and knowledgeable folk here. My Neice has just started Uni in Bristol and found a place on white ladies road. Shared house but the owner lives there too and is really difficult doing things like timing them in the shower and banging on the door etc. Seems to me she wants the money but not the students. Anyway, my neice just avoids going back and tends to hang out at everyone else's for as long as possible.
It's no way to start student life. My Daughter is also at Bristol so she stays with her sometimes too but we need to deal with it now. Just wondered if any locals have or know of any accommodation in the area. Not looking for special deals and happy to give the going rate but would just like to help her out.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks for your time.

My daughter in her last year current 2 bed flat absolutely disgusting pays £1k per month (that’s cheap)just off Gloucester Road will probably end up buying her somewhere as she will work in Bristol previous 2yrs 6 friends renting and I think £3k per month condition a bit better (but not much) unfortunately Bristol now incredibly expensive and most landlord companies like “digs” leave a lot to be desired

I can vouch for that, it’s an expensive place to live nowadays. I pay just over £900 a month for a 1 bed flat in Clifton.

Why didn't she apply to the halls of residence? When I was at Bristol University nearly all of the first year students were in one of the HoR's.

eg. Badock Hall, Hiatt Baker Hall.

In the second year, once you've developed a circle of friends, then you move out & find somewhere more independent.

She at the Old Vic. There are no halls of residence.
