RIP Barrie Masters

Very much of my era, Barry Masters lead singer from Eddie & The Hots Rods has passed away. Although they only had one hit, they were a fabulous live band.
I first saw the Hot Rods in 1978, they supported the Feelgoods. Barry was an amazing front man, who lived life very much on the edge.

Sad to hear, liked them a lot back in the day. Always thought of Barrie Masters as a sort of high energy, pocket Mick Jagger.

I used to work with his brother, many years ago. 63 is no age. I hope he lived his life to the full.

Saw them at Reading Rock in 1977, I still vividly remember their set. RIP Barrie.
