Hi hugo, either dlw or namoki mods I can't remember. I got the voyager dial, hands, chapter ring and bezel.
The blue insert from somwhere else, not my usual source. I really really don't remember! It was actually hard to find!
Oh they were in UK, I do remember that.
Bracelet is uncle seiko, no safety on the clasp whic is a bit weird nowadays but is very sturdy. I actually had to loosen it a little bit!

SKX007j pvd mod. Also changed the hands to black but annoys me that the lume doesn’t quite match.
SKX009 Minor mod on this. Never been a fan of the standard bezel so bought a coin edge one and refinished it with a brushed finish.

I wouldn't worry about the lume match. The hands on my 009's don't quite match the dial either. Slightly darker. As far as I know, the only diference between the 7 and the 9 is that the 7 has a black dial and bezel insert and the 9 has a dark blue dial and blue/red bezel insert. The hands are the same. There are minor other deferences between the J and K versions but I believe the hands are the same. I do like your black one. I can feel another build coming on. :)

You’re right about the lume, doesn’t spoil the enjoyment of the watch if I’m honest. Just one of those thing I notice each time and think, bugger, I wish that matched a bit better. But if you like pvd watches, and I know not everyone’s cup of tea, the the skx suits that treatment very well.
Most after market hands tend to have crap lume. The only decent ones I've found so far were from Dagaz.
Some Brilliant watches here that I would wear 24/7. There’s a Seiko modded that I saw on ?? Instagram or YouTube he called it Blood Moonthat was gorgeous, can’t find it to show here.

That's the kind of mod I really like. Stainless steel bezels just lift the watch hugely .. the only modded Seiko I currently have, which is just a simple lume mod:SRPA19K bezel on SRP779,
Wear it on the stock rubber,
Also works on SC Super Jubilee,

He's Thai based but his comms are excellent. Completed watches ship quickly via UPS with tracking capability. The Turtle was sent by Jack on Saturday & reached me yesterday.

All are NH35 /36 based. The Turtle & the Patek lite are on OEM Seiko straps, the Arabic dial is on an aftermarket President style bracelet..

I’ve been looking online, anyone recommend any UK sellers or is it worth even with tax looking to Singapore?
One for the Seiko modders here on know anyone in the UK.
My first auto watch was an Orange Monster, gen 1 very fun & great VFM.
However I do really dislike day dates.
Hankering after a blue dial watch and can see the limited edition SBDC067 which I know is a hard to get piece.
My query is can the crown be changed for the early gen1? I dislike the knurled crown and prefer the gen1 and cam the cyclops be removed?
