The result is awesome. I can tell you that an engine builder/restorer is always worried when a customer's car is strapped on the dyno.

Binky and Murray's MK1 videos back-to-back on one evening made it possible to compare both projects. Despite the cinematographic and editing skills of the 'Murray crew', I must say that I prefer Binky. Simply because there's more to see about manufacturing and the thinking behind all sorts of solutions. Murray's project is too 'vocal' for my likings.

    A great series of videos.

I have recently spent a day and a half on the rollers with one of my cars, the result is that the engine is coming out, oh well !!

I completely agree with you. The skills and thinking over such a long period in the Binky videos are awesome. I mean, that bonnet release and manifold today!

Not really, it looks like it has to much compression, it will all be done in a day,

My Uncle had an Escort - loved them since the early 70s. Mark 1s are the best
