I love the style of that and those black hands make them so legible.

Auricoste type 20, Marine Nationale issued, circa mid 50’s

Vixa type 20 hands on mine though, probably swapped while serviced by a Marine watchmaker somewhere in the past

^^^^that is gorgeous! The great thing about vintage chronographs were the more interesting movement compared to the now ubiquitous use of the 7750.

My only vintage chrono is this lovely Seiko on a Toshi. I love the design. Fantastic watch really.

Thanks ETCHY, it's one of my favourites - and a reminder of a favourite Aunt who left me a small amount in her, will enough to buy it.

That one, like mine, is a ZUZ-issued Tutima. I bought Any's one and mine from the same Zoll auction when it left its issued service.
Tutima did poduce them, in very limited quantities, and you could ask them to make you one, but they were not part of the general catalogue.

Another one of a 176.007. Some really lovely watches in this thread - the 60s and 70s really did supply a rich assortment of beautiful (and somewhat funky) chronographs.

    I've got one of those.

I remember when they found a NOS cache of them and bought mine on TZ US for around $300.

    I think I can play.

There are some others that I don't consider to be sufficiently vintage.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

There are some really nice watches on this thread
I have add a couple since I last pasted and the vintage Chronograph collection now looks like this

Earliest would be the Heuer from late 60s, most modern 1993.
