    Show us your vintage Chronographs

    Here's two of mine:

Is one way to define "vintage" when the crystal generally changed from acrylic?

    from different styles

Chronographe Suisse, late 50's or early 60's - Landeron 51 movement

    Zodiac Chronograph, 1970's - Valjoux 7734

Chrono Suisse - they seemed to have made quiet a lot - all the same style - just changed the "name" on the face - I believe they were made by a group of Swiss watchmakers for the Tourist market - just what I have read somewhere on the internet

never seem that Omega version before

So it’s a pre cursor to the Deville. Pretty rare as it goes. I originally thought I was an early seamaster chrono. Turns out It’s not the seamaster because these cases aren’t water resistant. The chaps on the omega forum were very helpful

Bought from this parish. ( photo by - learning to fly). This is probably the most magnificent example of a vintage watch I’ve ever owned.

^I like the funkyness of the one above!

Used to own quite a few vintage chronos, but down to just two now which I'm pretty content with.

    1969 Speedmaster MK2

    1976 Longines Ultronic

Stanford: Your super compressor SOTC from a couple of months ago was most impressive and I keep going back to it. Your Omega chrono collection is also stunning. You obviously have great taste in watches.

Yes, it is. Quite rare. Especially on the original stainless steel bracelet. Very well made.

For 30k Eur. I'll sell mine. Not kidding.
I bought it from the widow of the first owner, a watchmaker who died in his late 70's in 2008.

They are on Chrono24 for 65k dollar (crazy) to 32k dollar I believe.
Last few went for 37k to 30k at auctions.

Someone on here has a space compax and I remember when they were selling around 2008 for around 3-4K and I thought that was highway robbery. If I could go back in time .....
