Thread: Show us your vintage Chronographs

Don’t wear this very often but such a nice warm watch in 18KT Rose Gold with the patina on the dial and perfect size @38mm. Also didn’t break the bank so will be staying put!

Damn I've not forgotten this one, saw it the moment it was listed but was dry as a chip at the time so had to sit quietly and wait for it to go. Bargain of the year and an absolute gem, congrats for getting it, it's a beauty.

The watch that started this craziness for me

But I do like a vintage Chrono (If someone can add a '95/'96 watch, these must count!)

Some gorgeous older watches in this thread, especially the Omegas. Here's my 'older' chronos although I appreciate it's debatable as to whether the 90s is vintage by comparison to some of the watches on here (second attempt as Tapatalk wouldn't play nice with the pics).

    1965 806

Sinn 140 (awaiting Simon Freese's attention)

    Heuer 1550

    Lemania 140 style

    Heuer 510.511

Thanks chaps. I must admit that there used to be a couple more Omega chronos in my collection and I do sometimes give myself a gentle kick for letting them go; these ones might linger a while yet
Whenever I see some of the watches on display here it is a struggle to not allow the bug to start twitching again!

    Show us your vintage Chronographs

Some amazing chronographs in this thread!

    Let’s start!

Lemania 5100 chronograph with a Lemania Dial. Shares the same case with the Heuer Audi sport...

The last Autavia with the calibre 12. Nice, subtle dial...

An excelsior park built using spare cases from the legendary zenith cairelli run

    Tudor big block

Sinn ezm1, that took ages to find..

A nice Lorenz sub with the Lemania 5100

    Coming on to neovintage...

    Sinn 103 klassik

    Tudor 79260p

Kobold polar surveyor. Titanium case, gmt and 24h indicator... on top of a chrono... proper toolwatch!

A TriBeCa since the Newman is out of reach!

Some modern that could as easily have been vintage

    Speedmaster tintin

    Speedmaster ST1

And finally the one that dominates my wrist lately and the best re edition for the year

    Sinn 155

    I love a vintage chronograph!

Got a fair few here. You can see the Omega's on my site (link at my sig).

Here's one I haven't seen on here yet, Seiko's first chronograph, made for the Tokyo Olympics in 1964.

    Cheers,
    Neil.

[QUOTE=sweets;5208705]Here are some, the few vintage that I have left

    Late 1980s (vintage?)

Love this Zenith! Looks a bit like a sub/daytona hybrid.

Do you have the reference number please?

Thanks, it is a series one De Luca - the caseback ref is 01.0040.400 - which is the same for all De Lucas, but its proper reference is 01.0042.400 - mine is an earlier small logo example from 1988.

Omega got it right with the Speedmaster and never bettered it imo. But some of the others on here are fabulous - that Top Time or some of the Heurs. I'd love a panda dial Hamilton or CWC. Chronomaster have an Omega Dynamic for 1998 for £1600 - sure these were about £600 back then

I remember them being knocked out at Swag jewellers for £325 as nobody wanted them.

That price didn't tempt me then TBH.

Whilst not as nice as most on this thread I have these.

This one needs a little TLC.

    Is 1993 vintage?

This thread just sent me down a rabbit hole! Maybe missed the boat on the Breitling top time, but really need a vintage chrono in my life.
