It rained. Quite hard. Resulting in signal failure outside of Liverpool Street. Again.

Currently on my second train after finally getting out of Liverpool Street. The kind train company thought cancelling their late running service before it reached its destination and making them all wait for another late running train was in the best interests of its customers. Me, bitter? Surely some mistake!

I remember that happening quite regularly when I was commuting into the City - throughout the 90’s. All part of the glorious London experience

Traffic is very sticky for the past fortnight or so, Chelsea tractors on school run driven by tiny ladies you can’t even see behind the wheel, dizzy mini cabs with no idea where they’re going, black cabs picking up passengers in the middle of the road, cyclists stopping for no one, rain and roadworks - a perfect sh1t storm..
