Swapping a SD 116600 for something bigger

My preference is larger watches so thinking long and hard about this but In real terms and at a sensible exchange what would be price difference for a D Blue or a SS YM11.

I would have thought a straight exchange for a d blue earlier edition. But i may be way off.

    What about getting a 126600 for yours + 1K to 1.5K?

I’d have thought yours plus £2k for a deep blue if you can find someone who wants the trade. I’ve had both and would definitely do the trade, even more so if you like bigger watches.

Would that be for the earlier or later version of the D Blue? Or is there no difference?

I have thought about one of these but never had chance to try one on.
Don't know if I would be happy with the magnification bubble on the date.

There is about a 1k difference between gen 1 and gen 2 Deep Blue at retail; but there is an overlap with some sellers

They are certainly catching the deep blue up which a few year ago I would not have thought possible (obviously with being discontinued)
I have lots of reasons to keep it but the main reason for having a watch for me is to have it on the wrist which is just not happening mainly due to the size.
A deep blue would certainly get more wrist time.

How about selling the 116600 getting a 116660 and put the rest towards a 42mm Explorer II

Prices of the GMT II have been rising rapidly, but you should get a 116710 LN plus change; or a 16710 full set, at a similar price to the 116600.

Wondering why people with no interest in watches are on a watch forum?

I’m thinking of going the other way.
