I was strolling around Seville today and happened upon this lovely looking watch shop which certainly stood out from the others I saw.
I'd not seen the Longines Military before either and it's right up my street...

What a beautiful shop, would love to see some more photos if you're going back. The price of the Longines seems to have gone up a lot, I thought it was more like £1k.

I believe I have an original Longines like that in my collection.
Denison case, mov't was delivered to the UK in 1942 iirc.
12.68 version with center seconds.
