    Watch storage box Q

A long shot here - I have spent a couple of hours on/off trying to search for a decent solid wood (not veneer) watch box for around 12 watches.

A few years ago we had a thread on here with a decent company that made them - I cannot find it at all.

I just want a decent box, no glass lid etc.

    Anybody have any suggestions please?

Can't find the chaps website but I bought one from Rainer some years back and the quality was amazing. I'd recommend if he is still a making them.

Rapport London does some decent boxes for the price. I can recommend the Captain 12.

I was looking at a Pelican case, obviously not that great to look at, but good protection for your watches.

    Not my photo or watches!

Casefarm do some custom made versions:

    Pity pictures in B&W.

There was another eBay seller popular on here many years ago who had a line of oak boxes in a less 'formal' style. Unfortunately think he stopped trading

Quite, the oak box seller was the one I set off trying to find - appears to be no longer trading.

    UPDATE

Well after not much luck and not wanting to pay big money for a storage box (not on display or a piece of furniture) I stumbled on these via their eBay:-

    (no affiliation with seller)

    https://www.thewoodenboxmill.co.uk/l...12-compartment

Nicely finished, plain wood(no lacquer or stain/paint). I have ordered some watch pillows from eBay (a couple of £ for 12).

    Couple of Q+D pics

Are you going to line the inside with some fabric or leave it as bare wood?
