Anyone in for the Ming 17.06 today?

Both variants launched at 2pm and likely to be sold out 5 mins after. I'm going for the black version limited to 125 pieces

I've been trying to justify the copper for the last week or so. at roughly £1200 seems a lot of watch for the money and really appeals to me. With a new born imminent I am fearful of my wife's reaction haha

What? She's getting a new baby, that's going to be far more expensive in the long term - Seems only fair you get something too!

From my reading that's the production limit per year, not the overall limit?

Not that that matters really, just hoping it's not creating a 'limited edition' that will never really be limited.

Unless I receive an offer on our house by 2 o’clock, I will have to this one a miss for now!

Best of luck in the scrum Ryan.

Bought the Yema too lol. And a GS today. Realised once again how much I hate Rolex design DNA and getting rid of my Root Beer and replacing it with 6 watches. No brainer!

Got a black one to scratch the ming itch. It’s not a 19.01 but hey, at that price I can’t really complain

I'm on the fence with the black - interesting or dull. I can't decide.

In the end I ended up getting one of each and I’ll see which one I like best and then pass on the other one. Hopefully I won’t be taking a big hit when I decide to sell but knowing me I might end up keeping both...

my payment confirmation went through at 2min past the hour and im expecting to have delivery around "late Nov/early Dec" according to the Ming email.
i have read others who waited a bit longer to order are looking at early 2020 for delivery.

Probably why I’m only finding Press photos at the moment. Thanks for the info!

From what I remember Ming saying, the first batch have just started to be delivered and the last of 2019s 300 pieces will be Feb/Mar 2020 ish.

It is a beautiful watch, the copper. The monolith is also nice in it's stark manner, but I prefer the copper. I seriously considered getting one of this years batch, but not great timing. Maybe next year.

I was online and almost bought one of these. Kinda sorry now.

How does the quality of finish compare to say Omega/Rolex ?

I have a monolith coming but think it's due in March.

Good to see it out in the wild!

Nice. The copper colour looks a lot darker in your photos, I was worried it might be a bit too ‘pinky salmon’.

Sadly I procrastinated too long, and they sold out.

I think they’re planning more if they’re able to source ETA movements. They added me to a wait/stand-by list via Instagram

The straps are made by Jean Rosseau - I have the same brown one as it came with my 19.01. Quality is good, but couldn't get a good fit at all sadly.
