There are some really lovely special editions but the ones with an image crammed into a tiny sub-dial look clumsy and unbalanced. YMMV
I happened to be in Goldsmiths in Solihull on Sunday and spoke with an Omega ambassador. He was telling me that Omega will do special limited 50th anniversary editions of all the Apollo missions. Apollo 12 flew in November so I wonder what they'll announce and how special it will be. He mentioned the production run would match the year rather than 6969.
I think the Apollo 13 will be extra special along with Apollo 17.
I am sure it will be something more than just the mission patch.
Just wondered if anyone else had heard something similar?

Omega Speedmaster Apollo 311.30.42.30.99.002. The ugliest Speedmaster ever. There’s something to be said for just getting a regular Moonwatch.
I wonder if they are going to release a broken-crystal version for Apollo 15?
Excuse my ignorance if this is an obvious question, but are these limited editions available on Omega's website or are they dealer special orders for preferred customers?
