PSA - Both types of Eterna 1939 Majetek LE available at TK Maxx

TK Maxx have both the steel and black PVD versions of the Eterna 1939 Majetek Re-issue Limited Edition in stock, at £499, which is a bargain from anyone's point of view (even used they are mostly over £1k on Chrono24 and EBay). Both can be seen HERE
If you buy one as a result of this PSA, please make the gesture of putting some of your saving into the fundraiser.

Very good price, nice watches these. Thanks for the heads up Dave although no good for me with my current bank balance.

That’s very nice, I’m not sure I’d have sold that if it were mine!

There’s only the DLC model left now.

I recently sold an original (non issued) late 1930's one of these and regret it somewhat but needs must, the original cal 852/s is a real workhorse of a movement. I don't know about the re-issue but the original wears best on a bigger/flat wrist. I really don't think this watch needs a date window despite the large dial acreage. A bargain for sure.

There are also some nice Rado's available there. Didn't know TK Maxx stocked watches like this, I assumed it was all fashion brands.

    That’s a gorgeous looking watch

Who owns Eterna these days? Is it still CityChamp?

I see Jura sells Eterna. Is Jura the UK’s main AD for Eterna?

Another heads up: TK Maxx has a 39mm Eterna, several Rado watches and an Oris or two. All at a considerable discount.

I think TK Maxx could be my favourite AD

I was passing the local at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol and they had Eterna Kontiki Date (3 hand) and pointer date (4 hand) models (at least 1 of each), on bracelet for under £500.

A KonTiki at that price would be very tempting. Eterna makes a great watch.

I bought one of the steel ones. I thought it was worth a try at that price. Unfortunately I don't like it enough to keep. Had it stuck to the original case dimensions it would have been a different matter.

If anybody wants mine for what I paid for it plus RMSD, say £514, please let me know asap.

I can return it to TKMaxx otherwise.

The black PVD version has just come up on TK Maxx. I prefer the new PVD version. Eterna’s done a nice job of this one.

We’re all different, but I prefer the new size. 40mm seems a good balance between the original and more contemporary sizing.
