Because there's a lot of greedy underhand bar stewards and free loaders in this life sadly...

150k over 7 years is incredible really. Well done Eddie. And works out around £400 a week so £30 really does seem bad in comparison. I guess there are some weeks where the figure is four figures.

The tab on the bottom of the forum says 4,075 active members out of 14,900 members. So just £5 annually from these active members would be equivalent to the historical run rate...

£20 (plus gift aid) this morning, to get the week rolling.

btw..... has anyone else noticed that the FR can't claim giftaid if the funds donated have come from a sale e.g. something on SC!!

Okay I'm sure everyone ignores that but I'm just saying....

But the funds haven’t come directly from the sale!

Item sells, seller donates to fundraiser, but who’s to say the money comes from the sale?........just saying.

Might be an idea, to get more donations, to reduce the amount of posts you need to enable sales corner participation.
I am not a frequent poster but have been a member on here since I bought my first couple of Precistas' eleven years ago.
In that time have only accumulated 180 posts ... but eleven years???

Oh I agree.... very hard to prove where the funds come from... It was just a comment of interest really. I wasn't suggesting people change their donation practice.

I'd tend to agree 250 posts is quite a lot.
Im at the stage now where id like to trim away some of my collection also I have some things that I'd like to offer here first and contribute to the FR but alas im still around 60 or so posts away.

    Long-term will have no effect.

But might provide a much needed spike?
Not ideal I know but it's more donations than would otherwise happen!

    Hi,
    Just discover that.
I have never clicked on this banner. The Virgin logo makes me think on something that has to do with music or so. Haven’t ask me what a fundraiser fondation is before.
Now that I know, I will do something.

Have to confess I’m a Luddite, no idea how all this fundraiser stuff works and generally not keen on setting up extra methods for spending money electronically. Not actually used SC in ages, so not making excuses. I always access this forum on my phone and this thread baffles me tbh. I’m sure I’m not alone?

It's the TZ-UK fundraiser, not exclusively the sub-forum SC fundraiser.

Genuinely, didn’t even know that - I’ve clearly not been paying attention.
