    Sub waiting times

It wasn't too bad, about 10 minutes in all. There were a few people in the queue in front of me but finally I got my hands on a turkey and ham sub with 9 grain wheaty bread stuff, red onion, lettuce, tomato, jalopeno, sweetcorn and chipotle sauce. No cheese because although cheese is frickin delicious, it is also bad mmkay. Oh yeah, and a cup of Pepsi Max cherry.

    Here's half the bad boy:

As this is watch talk, here's a picture of my sub with a Titoni Airmaster (again). I just love the baguette (a fitting pun!) cut stones and it refuses to leave my wrist. Only one picture as the teenage girls a couple of tables away seemed to be saying something along the lines of "look at that sad old tw*t taking pictures of his watch with a sandwich":

Anyway, hope you all enjoyed my sandwich - I certainly did. Did you know it's International Talk Like A Pirate Day on Thursday? My Titoni also has a sailing ship of some sort engraved on the back so I'll probably make another thread with a blatantly misleading title in the next couple of days. I dunno... maybe something about Sea Dwellers? Ciao!

Remember to only use words beginning with ‘R’!

I love these threads where an expert takes their latest purchase apart and then reconstitutes it looking better than the original. More pics please!

I think the launch of the Submarine Delivery Agency will help to cut short delivery times. About time somebody did something about this.
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.

Having bought a couple of Subs recently, one for me and one for my wife, I was confident I knew what the thread would be about.😀

They were the first I have bought in about 4 years and the AD experience was as confusing as I remembered it to be, with all the extras on offer to enhance the experience.

We each selected the nine grain bacon and cheese breakfast Sub with tomato and were provided with a cup of tea at extra cost.

Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures.

Ba-dum, tish! Funnily enough, the Subway was just outside Ilkeston so the joke works extra well. What a hole that place is.

I can’t believe you ate it. You should have put it in the safe and let it appreciate.

Maybe that's a new thread "Show us your nautical themed casebacks".

    Or not. Depending.

I think the topic should encompass all pirate related watches, so ships, skulls, parrots, Somalia etc.

Wondering why people with no interest in watches are on a watch forum?

Did they remove the wrapping and keep the receipt?

Also, did you sign anything about re-selling, or have to buy a really crap sandwich before you could get a good ‘un?

Don't forget to add VAT if toasted. Could be cheaper buying abroad.
