Must be a change for the sales assistants, having to try to sell watches rather than customers begging to buy them!
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

    Really???

The charade of refurbung a shop when there is nothing to display.

The charade of buying loads of stuff you don't need to by an item you want.

The charade of none existent waiting lists.

    Etc, etc...

It is a legitimate profitable business
They sell the watches they have.
Am not sure how that constitutes a charade.
They don’t promise and not deliver or deceive.

This may explain why my local independent AD has just spent a fortune on a dedicated Rolex area within their store.

The year before it was a similar dedicated area for Patek.

    Omega next year perhaps?

I'm not sure if that is correct or not, (they sell the watches they have) and I'm not sure if you want to divulge how you know that?

Either way, I find the whole thing a charade, obviously you do not. It is simply an opinion and my previous points are some of the reasons why I think the way I do.

I'm by no means saying that it is all on Rolex, it's probably the other way if anything. Some of the AD staff leave a lot to be desired as well...also IMO.

There is no way I would jump through the required hoops, that is just not me. I would love a sea dweller and when I'm in the position to buy, I will attempt to do so and see how far I get with politeness and enthusiasm!

The 2 ADs near me have recently moved to new premises, with large Rolex areas within the stores so suggests there may some truth to it.
