Digital comics/ graphic novels - which device?

Is anyone reading comics and/or graphic novels in digital form?
If so, what type of device are you using? I realise an iPad (9.7" and up) would be the obvious choice, but I was just wondering what else people may be utilising. You see, I've already got an iPad mini (fantastic, goes everywhere with me) and I'm not too keen to pay serious money for yet another iPad which would be used solely for reading comics....

I've been reading on my phones for years (android and iphone). Currently I'm using my iphone and ipad 9.7 (different comics on each). I did use a Nexus 9 until I managed to kill it last year (hence the ipad now).

I did get a Kindle Fire 6 (I think) a few years back for my son to read comics on but its horendously slow to use with not enough space on it. I was tempted to upgrade it a few months back in the hope that a newer model would be more useable, but he just doesn't use it enough (ie the wife wouldn't let me).

What I'd really like is a colour e-ink device (a colour Kindle basically), but still waiting for that to happen.
