Thread: Anyone used Secursus Insurance for shipping?

Anyone used Secursus Insurance for shipping?

Need to ship a watch to Denmark, and this company provide cover for packages up to £100,000 when shipped by any of the main carriers, and pricing seems very good.
Anyone know of them at all? They seem french-based but have a good UK website.

    https://www.secursus.com/terms-and-conditions.php

    Thanks

Seems almost too straightforward. Parcel Pro required two references and all sorts of other info. I've just signed up with Secursus in about 30 seconds.

Of course no one will ever know if the service is any good until they need to make a claim. I still have no idea if Parcel Pro is any good but I've been using it for years (touches wood; turns around, touches the ground with fingers crossed).

Yeh, seems dead simple. They have good clear T&Cs too. Proof of items, photos, certain way to pack, verifiable transaction between 2 parties to insured value if there is a claim etc., but I have all of these.

Like you say, won’t know unless there’s a problem but looks straightforward enough

Another option is IFS Infosure. Run by Jerone who used to work at parcelpro, I know a few on here Inc me who use them.

Cheers - US based? Not sure if that makes a difference, assume they insure all shipments to and from everywhere

With Parcel Pro you can also insure a delivery to yourself, as long as the sender follows all their criteria.

    Thanks
It seems as I understood it. I think they look like a good option. Their Ts&Cs are easy enough to adhere to. I will be using them.

    Thanks for the link.

The founder's comments about customs declarations are very odd, though. Usually customs declarations must be externally or very easily visible.
