Picked mine up from the post office today. I love it! Just need to resize the bracelet, but it’ll have to wait, early flight in the morning! Sunday can’t come soon enough 👍🏻 Thanks Eddie

What a beautiful little watch ... big grin plastered all over my face ever since it arrived an hour ago :-)

Well done Eddie ! Bracelet is superb !

I second that request...the Expedition thus far seems to be more the crowd pleaser.

I received my Smiths Expedition on Tuesday, mate it's fantastic!

The Smiths booby logo is perfect, opening the parcel was like opening a NOS watch from the 1950s, like many I've a few watches (well ten) of which I'm going to thin out to about six, this Smiths is going nowhere.

It's the seconds counter-balance that does it!

Thank you for the input gentlemen, the face/details of the Exped do I think give it that bit more, and who wouldn't want a dial that says Deluxe, though there is more of a sporty vibe to the White Everest, argh tough choice.

First week of really wearing it properly, and WOW. I almost NEVER wear watches on bracelets, but it’s a killer. Fit and finish are perfect. My first “smaller” watch, and I have quickly come to love the size. Currently running about -2 seconds a day.

I fear it may usurp my PRS-82!

    Thanks Eddie!

Tried it on a waterproof leather german (damasko) strap, think I prefer it on the bracelet but thought I'd add it here to show options for people

Generally speaking I've been preferring my white Everest on the bracelet, but I've just swapped it over to a Jurgens strap I've had for ages (which is extremely comfortable) and I rather like it:

The problem is, it's now making me crave an Expedition as well... (from pictures I've been seeing, I think the Expedition is really well suited to a leather strap, whereas I prefer the Everest white on a bracelet).

Picked this up last week and momentarily considered letting it go to fund something else but since trying out a few strap options I have really bonded with it. The Expedition is a wonderful watch but this one shouldn’t be overlooked.

My white dial Everest has gotten a lot of wrist time since I received it, competing with my Speedmaster and my Explorer 214270. One of the main reasons I bought this watch was because I wanted a smaller, vintage-like watch on a bracelet (and white dial). However, I think it definitely looks good on both leather and nato straps. Here it's paired with my "Norway nato".

My Expedition has been on the wrist for a full 4 days now, and is running at a steady -2s/day.
Outstanding performance, cracking looking and great specs for an all round watch.

No wonder all the PRS-25 models are selling for more than their RRP. I've often commented on Eddie's pricing, such fantastic value watches. I used to struggle deciding which one to wear.
Problem solved these days, the Expedition is so versatile I can't see it off the wrist in the foreseeable.

Has there been any word on when the Expedition second batch will be for sale? I read on here 'at least 3 months' and that was posted in October. Has a narrower window been announced?

Eddie is still recovering so there has been no word on when he will be opening up shop again so we won't know about any models until Eddie is back in action.

I have the black dialed Everest as I also have the Baltic Aquascaphe. Both watches are keepers. I got my Baltic on the tropic strap because I am not a bracelet kind of guy.

Binsulls thread, plus missing out on one in December prompted me to form an orderly queue today. So now the wait begins.

    Steve

    Update , it's arrived.

And now on a beige leather

Still enjoying my Everest so I thought I would try a light leather strap. Sorry for the hairy arm.

I own the black dialed version but that tan leather strap looks really good, but I think they look good with just about anything. Enjoy. Brian

I would really like to see one of the "white" dial Everests in actual polar white rather than the more cream dial we have today.

That 3,6,9 dial in polar white would be one of the simplest purchase decisions I'd ever make ...

    Pretty please Eddie ? :-)
