Just saw on Instagram. Looks pretty sick. The flash of red on the second hand and the black bezel instead of the steel changes the aesthetic quite a bit. Then I noticed the case and bracelet are PVD also. Cheapens the look for me . A black bezel would been enough price £4260. Normal BBChrono on bracelet £3650, so it’s £610 more for PVD finish basically ok just noticed it’s a ltd edition of 1181 pieces. Not bad value then

After the last World Cup I burnt my England shirt, let’s see how we get on first!
And yes, I agree re the pvd finish

Not pretty.
Why are modern Tudors mostly inelegant ?
For me the black is an improvement over plain steel, really adds an edge to it
Black face and bezel with regular case and bracelet would have been idea, definitely.
No idea how PVD means ‘World Cup’ to be honest? 🤔
No rivets on links?
Tudor are an official sponsor of the All Blacks and this is an all black watch
prefer both of these tbh although this new one will be collectible I’m sure. Hard pass for me though so I’ll give it a miss.
While I done want an all black watch the lack of the rivets make sense on this more modern styled watch and the red elements look great. Thumbs up from me.
Ugh it’s happening - I’m starting to like it . Would wear it in leather tho.
I'm a fan of all black watches in general but this looks great. I recently got a black bay dark and still I'm tempted. Hopefully these will go fast so I won't get a chance to give in to temptation :D
The black bezel on the steel would make an improvement.
Apparently there’s also one for the referees with rubber strap
Picked up one today, Beaverbrooks only had 10 of these across the entire UK network. My first Tudor, its nice in the flesh.

I've never owned a coated watch before - will the paint "peel" or scrape off with time?
If I got a deep scratch, would that reveal the steel underneath?
Forgive my ignorance, it's not black steel is it...
It's like the love child of a Daytona and DSOTM. I like it!
Looks great apart from the absence of white hands. All of them are just silver. It'll be a bitch to read anything on it unless you have operfect lighting, especially on those sub-dials.
The slight dishonesty is that on the catalogue shot, they look white. But they aren't.

I read that they’ll be adding more as new players come into the team though so this one might truly be unlimited!

“The production number can grow as new players join the team in the coming years. All of the watches are available for sale except the number 1115 that belongs to Barrett. “

Should have really called it the Tudor All Blacks Bay Chrono...
It’s a nice idea and a nice looking watch but as a die hard England rugby fan and recently retired amateur rugby player I could not bring myself to buy a watch linked to the All Blacks.
I know that’s totally daft.
(I would not buy a watch linked to the England team either).
Can I ask something please?
The original steel-bezel BB Chrono looks like the Tachy numerals are engraved and filled (with black paint)
On this black version, the numerals look like they are printed onto an insert, not engraved into it. Is that the case?
Thanks
Dave
IT looks platicy - im sure it doesn't in the flesh though and I love it.
If anybody has the opportunity and doesn't want one - could they let me know?

Good spot!
The steel bezel version is indeed solid with the numerals engraved on and painted black.
That last photo does make it look like an insert
Checking the Chrono S&G, that also looks like an insert rather than one-piece. (Photos do, anyway)

I just picked it up at the AD, looks much better in person.
Very different to the stainless steel which I compared side by side at AD. Feels more modern, smaller (14.4mm thickness vs 14.95mm normal version) and with the non rivet bracelet. Apparently the PVD has been applied very thick by Tudor, as would be expected.

If anyone spots one of these at a window, i’d appreciate a heads up! Thanks

I was offered one today by Chisholm Hunter but turned it down due to some Ming loveliness being released tomorrow. I can ask if still available? It was expensive though and no discount
