    Vintage car dash ID please

Old mate of mine picked up this old car speedo/fuel gauge from a car boot sale to put in his “man cave”.
Various paint colours on it, silver, black, red, and something similar to a Morris minor blue, no name visible, but both clicks have AC painted on.Only number visible is located at the top of the speedo, under the chrome surround, 1577478 ?
Can’t find anything similar on google images, wondering if any of our more learned car people on here could help to identify it?
    Many thanks, Daz.

Either AC cars or AC Delco, probably AC Delco going by the lettering perhaps.

Very similar speedometer was for sale on ebay earlier this year . . .

. . . seller didn't seem to know much about its origin though.

Based on the 60mph max that's out of something old like 1950s Morris or suchlike.

I bet member unclealec knows as he's into the vintage Brit stuff

    Fairly sure it's from a 1950s Bedford CA Van/Campervan.
