Here are a couple of pocket watches I have. The one on the right was my wife's grandfathers and I somehow managed to get it working - the one on the left I just bought on eBay.
Rather nice little things - I really like the slow and loud tick tock they make. Could be the beginning of another expensive horological rabbit hole!
Question - both carry on timing but change timbre somewhat when faced dial down - is that normal? I'll probably have both serviced anyway to make sure they'll carry on running - they keep pretty good time all things considered.
