If you can find a tiny spring the right size could you trim the crown stem and the new stem, join them with the spring and then solder them together?

I was planning on upgrading the 7s26 movement in my Seiko Monster gen 1 with a spare NH36 movement. All was going well until it came to the crown/stem. I had thought I could simply remove the old stem from the crown and screw in the NH36 stem. I then discovered that the old stem cannot be removed from the crown. When I modded my SKX009 it was a simple case of swapping the old one with the SARB059 crown/stem but I don't know if this will fit the monster case/tube. Even if it is the correct length. Is there anywhere I can obtain a crown that fits the case and I can screw the NH36 stem into? After market or genuine. I will need to cut the stem to the correct length. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks. Of course an alternative is to fit the 4r36 movement with the gen 2 crown/stem but it would be more expense!
I have spent the evening on the internet trying to find an answer to no avail!

Sumo crown and stem is plug and play also gen2 monster.
Thank you for the suggestion but the movement I was going to use is an NH36 not the 4R36. Or am I not understanding. Are the stems the same for both?
Thank you again! I have a lot to learn. Your information has made my day after my down heartedness last evening. Many thanks.
