As above really, I have a really hard to find colour combo in a NATO strap but I’m wanting it in a two piece setup, I do t suppose anyone on here could convert could they?

You need a person who have heavy duty sewing machine like shoe repair s
Or you must sew it by hand but it s difficult and looks not pretty
I'm in exactly the same situation and wasn't sure if my mum's standard sewing machine would be up to the task. We tried at the weekend with a cheap NATO and the machine (and particularly mum) coped admirably with the job. It's just a prototype for the moment though. I dislike large gaps between straps and cases so I'm playing with the design to fill the space a little. One strap piece was a simple fold over which gave quite a large gap, the other strap piece we added a small strip of filler material inside the fold which improved things in my view and wasn't much more awkward. I'm considering another try that might achieve a really good curved fit to the case.... But is probably too complex to be easily achieved tbh... Although I'll let mum be the judge of what she can manage!
I'll post some photos. Bear in mind they are only prototypes so aren't done to a finished standard, threads are just cut off etc, but it readily confirmed mum's machine could do it. I used a match to seal all cut ends before we did any stitching.
Can't you find a rhino in the right colour?
What's the colour combo? Can you post a picture?
It’s this strap
