    Just wondering why...........................

Sellers are calling the Rolex Airking 116900 the Bloodhound, seen it referred to a few times recently.

I'd call it the Morrisons if anything.

Personally I would like to see an end to the daft names for Rolex watches.

I'd rather see an end to people trying desperately to come up with a nickname for every single Rolex for no reason.

Pepsi/coke/root beer are all fine, they're variations of the same watch and makes it easier than BLRO, RONR, CHNR, etc. but when you're trying to come up with a catchy nickname for something like an Air King it's a bit pathetic. There aren't multiple versions, no nickname is needed.

Spotted the Rolex name when I was there, but didn’t know they had liked it to a watch.

Not a fan of those Rolex nicknames TBH.... except Paul Newman of course!

Reds, double reds, root beers etc certainly have their place but now everything seems to need some sort of nickname.

Probably migrated over from Seiko where they use indecipherable model names for many things often without model names.
    Cheers,
    Neil.
