Help me find the right strap please SORTED WITH PICS

Some of you will be aware that this lovely Seiko 7000-8000 is a family heirloom. I’ve deduced that the reason I don’t wear it very often is because I don’t have the right strap for it.

It’s currently on this Di Modell croc print leather in black which is OK but I’m not sure it does the watch justice. The dial is dark blue and the lugs are 19mm.

Ideally I’d like a jubilee bracelet but I’m loathed to order one because it’s unlikely the end links will be a good fit.

So leather is the way to go I think and that’s where I’d like your help, opinions and recommendations
please. Budget is max £40 but ideally half of that if possible.

Looking forward to being inundated with suggestions from you good people :)

    Thanks.

How's about a black leather with either blue or white stitching or a Navy blue NATO.

No direct recommendation but I reckon a nubuck or suede grey strap would look spiffing on that.

For the sake of £12 I think it's still worth trying a cheap eBay Chinese jubilee on it. Something like this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Curved-So...Hbw1_BCn4sUrpQ

I would go for a dark blue strap, I fitted a Hirsch Duke strap to a similar blue- dialled watch and it works nicely. Cost is £29, quality us excellent.

I think a charcoal nubuck alligator by Peter Watch Acc might be an idea. I believe Hirsch also make these for GO but I don't know if they sell them with their own name on.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Thanks for the link, for that price I’ve ordered one.

    Cheers.

Thanks, I’ve had a look at the Duke now and I really like the grey one.

Black lizard might suit that? Cousins do a cheap Omega style.
