    Rubber strap on Nomos Club

    Hello fine TZ people

I’m into rubber straps at the moment and was thinking to get one on my Nomos Club.

Has anyone got this combo on this model, or similar and could share photos?

Also, any suggestions on decent brands that do rubber straps at 18mm? I can only find plain black for Hirsch and not sure if that would work.

    Cheers

I’d have a look at Barton elite silicon, they do all sorts of colours and sizes including 18mm.

I’ve got one and find in really comfortable. They are also extremely good value so you can experiment with minimal worries over cost. They sell them on Amazon.co.uk but in my experience it’s cheaper to buy direct. They charge some minimal amount for worldwide shipping, $2?, and if you buy individual straps they come in under the UK customs threshold for duty which is something like £17?

Bonetto Cinturini make some very nice quality Italian natural rubber straps.

Best place I have found to buy them is Watchbandcenter - they are not branded as BC but you can compare to the website above & easily spot which ones are.

WatchGecko also sell a range of BC straps.

Thanks for the responses. These Bartons actually look great. As you said, cheap to, so not to worry I pick the wrong colour!

    Thanks again.

Shortly after posting got an email from Barton about one of their regular holiday sales. 20% off until the 4/9 so what’s not to like.

Good colour match for the hands. Looks good although I do think that Nomos lugs are too long.

Imo the Club looks best on a perlon which helps to minimise the long lug effect.

Yeah, lots do have an issue with it but it’s never bothered me.

Thanks again for the recommendation. The strap is great. Will definitely go back to them.

I have a club campus too, agree the lugs are long however much less noticeable on a nator/perlon etc. as there isn't a visible gap through to the wrist.
