    Frank Muller

Am I the only one here to have bought a Franck Muller ? 2nd hand in New York about 16 years ago , no box no papers but I did have the sense to ask for the links when they sized the bracelet. I quite like some of the new Vanguards .........

I don’t have one, but they do look very nice. What do you have?

I used to like them quite a few years ago but for some reason it’s a brand that I’ve totally forgotten about over the years !

Not a very WISish thing to say but I like quite a few of them.
Would be foolish to buy them new or at RRP. It

I'm quite a fan of them aesthetically however they sit quite large on the wrist. I just found at their price point there were other watches I'd rather purchase. I think watchfinder of all places is one of the best places to purchase if you want a vanguard as they usually have several unworn available with circa 35% off rrp.

If you search on the forum there have been some good threads on Franck Muller over the years. I was a closet fan of some of the plainer models, having never seen one in the flesh. It seems that a few people on here have had them and they receive mixed opinion.

I once owned a King Conquistador Cortez-fully loaded with diamonds about 12/13 years ago when FM was probably at the height of its popularity. It was actually a great watch but I didn’t feel the design stood the test of time very well and I sold it a few years ago, losing my shirt!!

Not my cup of tea, a bit too dressy/blingy for me

I bought Mrs T. has a Colour dreams 13 years ago and she loves it and likes (me) to change straps regularly
I've suggested getting her another watch but she says she doesn't need on as the FM is perfect for her

I bought a Casablanca, the slightly smaller one , it had a lovely bracelet. I gave it to one of my sons as a birthday present.

I still own an early 1999 Creme Dial Casablanca on a steel strap (S/N 15#).

Beautiful watch, beautifully made and very comfortable. The box it came in also rather special.

Cracking watches, but as others have said, not awatch to buy at retail, but this applies to about 99% of brands.

Whoever does not know how to hit the nail on the head should be asked not to hit it at all.

This is my FM. Always liked the Casablancas but this is a 7 size case (the Casablancas are 8)

Frank Mullers are not everyone’s cup of tea, here’s my DJ next too my mates FM. What a watch if you have the wrist and forearms to carry this off.

I've tried to buy a couple of Franck Muller's in the past:a king conquistador and a king Cortez -i love them- but both times sales were scuppered as I couldn't source links for the bracelets (I always prefer bracelets on chunky watches).
I would buy one in a heartbeat if I could get one to fit my porky wrist :8)

I used to while away time in airports trying them on. They are so different in shape. Never felt able to pull off the size though

I have a Vanguard, bought last year from Basel at about 50% of list.

As with most things in life...lovely if the price is right

I'd skip on the brand and most of what they do now, though my younger self used to love the look
