I like it, because it avoids having that awful logo at 9 o’clock 😆

Its actually a really nice looking Watch. Not sure I'd ever consider it as a dive watch as the legibility and practicality is very limited. As a cool and quality timepiece though. Yes.

Not sure about use as a dive watch but interesting enough. Wouldn't pay anywhere close to that amount for a CW.

Oh, and that logo is a million times better than any of the other ones!

Different and a brave design. But seriously, 3.5k for a brand which immediately plummets in price and holds regular sales?

Cool watch. Wouldn’t even dream of buying it.

Looks good although the hands are a bit boring.
Yes it’s definitely pricey, but it’s a halo product so I feel that doesn’t really matter.

It’s a very nice watch and CW should be pleased with their current lineup. However, there are hundreds of others I’d buy first.

It's a reasonable looking watch but can't see anyone in their right mind paying 3.5k for a Christopher Ward.

Now if it were say 1.5k then it's something to think about, but that price tag is hard to swallow. Suspect the design will date quickly too

An entirely different model, but as much as I liked it, I had to convince myself to spend £300 on a CW (before the identity crisis) trident pro. At this point, something tells me I'll just go for the seamaster.

I like the coloring very contrasting but as someone said 3.5k for a watch by CW when I could get an omega

Saw this in person at the weekend. It is very shouty indeed, and just too gaudy for my tastes. I rather liked the photos, but in the flesh...

Just wait until fathers day, itl be 50% off as a big f**k you to customers who bought at full price, although at this point cw sales are so predictable, anyone paying full price hasn't done their research.
Massive sales are such What a great way to devalue a watch brand. Pity as they make some nice watches.

This one isn't even worth 50%of thr asking however, at least to my eye

So how much would you pay for the watch and how much would you pay for the badge?

If it was the same watch with an Omega badge on it would you pay £3.5k for it?

Even if buying an omega for the logo your paying for something you won't get in a cw, for the omega heritage, decades of brand reliability and the benefits that come with Veblen product, in particular its ability to hold its price or even appreciate.

Looks a bit bright for me. Don’t own a dive watch as I don’t dive and this would not cause me to change that even at 1000 no matter what badge was on it.

I meant mahoosive. Big,thick and full of colour.
All it needs to complete it is some doodah tie in with another "establishment" on it.

Didn’t you get the circular that it is passé to make these comments about Bremont or that it doesn’t earn you any brownie points?

    No.
And I got knobbed off from the CW forum after 7yrs because it's like mumsnet over there and that's swaying my comments I will admit.
However. the watch is still too big and expensive aswell.

Oh, Jesus wept N, that was over 6 months ago or more. I was dumped by Kip because some a*hole went running to teacher after I expressed an opinion at his "look at me and my pals" post.
He had a major flounce in disgust, I got knobbed off and that was that.
Turns out the same guy had flounced off twice before and returned.
There are some super sensitive bar stewards about I tell you.....

It moves like treacle in a freezer over there these days.

    I know I shouldn't.

Sorry to hear that mate, shows how much attention I pay to what goes on these days! Hopefully some common sense prevails and you are back on the forum soon.

Not looked at the CW site for ages. Rather like the C65 Sandhurst Series 1, too.

I'd happily have that for £400 in the sale

Not a fan of the strap, but really like the watch.
I don’t think the price is crazy for a twin barrel, chronometer certified in-house movement.
