    Affordable titanium divers

I noticed that Citizen has some titanium divers with an automatic movement. What else is available like this (titanium diver, under £500 and preferably automatic)?

A second hand Tutima DI 300 would be my choice:

Like many others on the forum, I'm still waiting for my Hamtun Kraken H2 to arrive which cost less than £250. Hopefully it'll be the automatic titanium diver bargain of the decade.

That looks really superb +1 for the Tutima DI300.

Seiko Shogun or Seiko Samurai, not sure of current pre-owned prices but possibly in the region of £500.
    Both automatic

My choice for the category was the titanium Seiko Samurai, seen below after its recent trip to Tempus Watch Mods for a health check and seal replacement to enable its frequent immersion in the below:

If you can find one within budget the quality of these is amazing. I had an orange one and the only downfall was I couldn’t get a comfortable fit on the bracelet. According to another forum member I should have just moved the links around...

Seiko SPB099J1 with the upside that it will be worth twice what you paid for it in 2 years

Hiya. That's a Thai market Zimbe. Still available here in Thailand but for around £1300 or so (Strong Thai Baht, weak £GBP). Misread the £500 threshold, sorry gents

Yes the steinhart is quite a nice one although a liitle big for my skinny wrists.

£600 to £800 for the tutima on ebay at the moment so not the most affordable IMO.

That Citizen is the nicest one so far (be better without the day) unless you would consider the SBDJ013 or SBDC029. The latter is about £700-£750 I think - can't get Gnomen to show in £ as I'm away at the moment.

Pretty sure Roland Kemmner made something With Sinn looks at this price point.

Are Kemmner watches still available? I haven’t seen anything from him on eBay for ages.

I believe Roland Kemmner retired both himself and his watch company a couple of years ago.

I used to wear my titanium seahorse as a beater until about two years ago... I really enjoy wearing it and for my wrist I think the size if perfect.

Citizen Orca - used for about £300 on Ti bracelet, or £200 on rubber. Some new on fleaBay at about £450+

I have the Zimbe version but aside from the sapphire crystal and funky dial it is the same watch. I genuinely believe it is the best bang for buck diver and as a pure diver's watch (and not a piece of wrist bling) it is more fit for purpose than my Rolex Sub. Great watch!

Wow really? Did not know that. Like I said, I saw the Zimbe version in Thailand and thought it looked cool but not £1400 cool but then noticed they were selling out fast and on secondary sites were being listed at double RRP so I managed to get one with a discount in Chiang Mai (paid £1200) and am really pleased with it as it is a superb watch and the Zimbe version has a sapphire crystal upgrade. I thi k it is a better diver watch than the MM300 as it is so light, uncluttered and matte. MM300 is a higher quality piece but for what it is intended to do (dive) I reckon the Shogun has it

If the SBDC029 had a sapphire crystal I would have bought it already. Shame as it's a lovely watch. Instead I'll probably spend the same money on the green Sumo and hope they upgrade the SBDC029 soon. I guess it's one way to end up with both.
