Hoped for it but didn't think they would do it, they really have a handle on what are the fun bits of Star Wars. Awesome.

Awesome episode, don’t went to give away any spoilers but what the hell? Me and my 8 year old thought the person turning up at the end was someone......and it wasn’t who we thought and we can’t work out how it was the person it was 🤣

Love this series, unfortunately the episodes are short...

I thought the same, I can’t quite work out the timeline of when this is supposed to be set.
    Cheers..

5 years after return of the Jedi I think, hence why he’s young still.

If you google it there are websites etc that explain everything - a lot of fans guessed this after the episode on top of the mountain. The timeline is explained etc. I won’t say any more as I don’t want to give any spoilers.

Still trying to work out whether Mandalorian S3 is separate to "The Book of..." or one and the same?

I assumed separate as the third season had already been announced and it seems like Bobba Fett and the Mandalorian are going their separate ways now. It was a great post credit scene!

Absolutely brilliant series. And the final episode was awesome....I (almost) had tears in my eyes at the end!

Yes, I believe they are separate series. I think there is also going to be a third separate series for Ahsoka Tano.

Superb ending to Season 2, this Series is so much better than the dross of the last few Star Wars movies.

    Watched it yesterday. Excellent!

Now busy catching up on the Clone Wars to fill in some knowledge gaps.

The Book of Boba Fett, should be quite interesting as well. I assume it will be precede his meeting with Mando.

Disney +, start with series 1 ep 1. It’s easier to follow that way

Im not sure when that will happen. The Mandalorian was about the lead character and the child. The child has departed and he is left with no real purpose. I suspect that the Bobba Fett story will be developed next. Im a little meh about that, but it is nice to see the Jango Fett actor play his son.

I thought that production is already underway for the Boba Fett mini series/film & that pre-production was already underway for the Mandalorian series 3.

Think we might find out more about Snoke, Thrawn or the battle for Mandalore next. Looking forward to Season Three.

Having read the books the Grand Admiral Thrawn stories would be interesting to follow.

I really hope they don’t go near the Snoke thing or anything really linking to the godawful sequel trilogy - Thrawn or Mandalore would be my preferred direction!

Hasn't the facial CGI come on? I thought it was noticibly better than those they did for Peter Cushing and Carrie Fisher.

Guess with a lot of new series in the pipeline some of these storylines could be included in the other series too esp the Ashoka one. Thought maybe Snoke because you can see him in one of the episodes in series 2, but it could just be a false storyline?

Hope Thrawn appears, those books were a good bit of Star Wars in a pretty lean time for fans. The timeline is perfect, 5 years after ROTJ just like the Mandalorian.

I recently recovered all my books from my dads loft so think I might revisit the Thrawn trilogy! I bought loads of the book series in the mid-90’s, as you say a lean time for SW fans. I also used to play a lot of the Star Wars CCG!! No wonder I didn’t have much luck with girls at school 😂

We have only just ordered Disney+ so we have the whole thing to look forward to - I’ve managed to avoid reading a single thing about it so far -

Pretty disappointing compared to the deepfakes that people have achieved on Youtube though. I saw one a couple of days ago which had been rushed and it was a massive improvement.

Brilliant end to the series and as people say the closest thing to proper Star Wars. Makes the sequels totally irrelevant in my book.

Been watching this with my Son...I guessed the final person via the hilt but my son was hoping for a certain someone from Rebels.

Looks like I have to watch that now!

Caught up with the last two episodes last night and thought it was excellent.

I wonder if S3 will follow the Darksaber stuff be more about the Mandalorians.

Looking at some stuff on a screen/iPad/phone on YouTube might not stand up to scrutiny on a 56” LG 4K TV though?
