Thought I would post a good experience I have had with a watchmaker (Richard MacMahon) in Adelaide, Australia. He is fixing my Doxa T Graph 600 and quoted a figure. Then discovered a fault with the chronograph module. Said it is his issue for not exploring more before quoting and is now sourcing a new module (actually very hard to find and believe he needs to get via the US) at way above the cost of the service. Will not charge any extra and has apologised for the delay. He has worked on other watches of mine and also loves to have a chat and show you his workshop (he has one of those lapping machines which is pretty cool). I know there are threads about the good guy watchmakers in the UK so thought I would add one for Australia. No affiliation with him, just thought I would share for any other Aussies on the forum.
