Hi All,
A few weeks back I went down with a sudden infection, basically I was knocked sideways with 3 visits to A&E in 5 days. Anyway to cut to the chase I was sent off in a semi delirious state for a chest x-ray. I was still wearing my CWC Navy re-edition Quartz Diver. When I finally got home I awoke out of my slumber but my watch was completely dead.
I spent two weeks recovering and thought well I get the watch sorted when I’m back in my feet. Suddenly though the watch has sprung back into life!
Can anybody figure out was has happened? Did it get magnetised and then somehow demagnetised? Did the X-ray crash the battery? but picking the watch back up the watch sort it?
Obviously happy to have a working watch and be back on my feet. But genuinely interested in what might have been the cause.

I have had upwards of 25 chest X-rays the watch has been taken off each time.
Tbf the obvious thing was take off the watch unfortunately I was borderline delirious at the time temp was 104 so brain failed
Following as I’d be interested to know the answers too.
The most important thing is your health, you watch could always be replaced, you can’t
