It was in the background of an eBay listing for a watch. I wondered if it was a bag from the AD. Might just be some random thing! Didn't recognise it.

Looks like it might be a gryphon with an O, and the stick looks very specific - someone will recognise it. Doesn’t seem that random, most images like that will be symbolic in some sense rather than random. Those three elements need to be decoded.

Which country was the listing in ? Which city ?

It's not a gryphon, but other than that I've no idea.

Sounds/looks like the raven of Matyas - was it a Budapest listing?

Thanks for responses so far. Haven’t fired up the desktop I was on to find the listing.

It was a UK listing but obviously it could have been a non-UK supplied watch!

Could it be part of a unit insignia? Is the watch military, or quasi-military?

    Best wishes,
    Bob

Could be a Phoenix (Firebird) or perhaps a Condor or Vulture of some sort.

Looks like a Military insignia to me.

    Pragnell's https://www.pragnell.co.uk/

I would have though it odd if they used eBay. I would have thought they would just send to the trade.

    You, sir, are a genius!

Sorry I didn't get round to posting the listing! Couldn't find it again!

It was someone selling a watch so presumably one they acquired from Pragnells.

    Thanks everyone for your input.
