So I’ve recently become fascinated with panda dial watches and more specifically reverse panda dials , I guess I’m into chrono watches as a result that have a contrast dial between the dial and the sub dials , the 2 I’m really into at the moment are these 2 , problem is that 1 of them is as rare as hens teeth and the other is 20k which is double the list price !

Who else is into these , maybe some pics of your favourite panda dial watches
Fell in love with this, recently. Not rare but not cheap either.

(I'm not going to bother re-posting my favourites).
For me it’s the Universal Geneve Uni-Compax Big Eye. Something of a dream given the prices so a photo from someone else will have to do.

Can never make my mind up which I prefer, panda or reverse panda, so I suppose I’d need to get the pair.
And I just learnt that real panda eye coloring is pretty symmetrical. Google searching for an actual big eye panda turned up nothing ;-(
It's a six year old thread... if we just bumped stuff from the past decade there would never be any new topics.
I've no Pandas to show at the moment, except a Citizen quartz that's not good enough to flaunt. Some stunners in here though.
I have noticed recently a load of ebay listings with Seiko Chronograph models described as "Panda" dials just for having different coloured subs. i.e. yellow dial and blue subs... Seiko Panda. Blue dial with red subs... Seiko Panda.
Some of these guys need to visit a zoo.
I'll agree with you on that point, Kev. This 'Golden Panda' which sold on WUS recently was a classic !

This is my one and only panda reverse dial and I have 5 strap options including this original beads of rice

I have a few but mostly gravitate towards reverse pandas...
It’s probably turning to an addiction....

Poljot Sturmanskie:
It's a bit old but I think this one is my fave , My youngest lad wants it so I may not get to wear it much more!!
My second fave is the newest watch to me, Tissot..
Not sure if this qualifies as a Panda but I like it!
This was a very cheap one but I like this one too!

I don’t possess a Panda but can see me doing so one day. I do really like the new Zenith Hodinkee edition but at nearly $20k it won’t be the one I add to collection.
One of my favourites
Just the Dan Henry 1962 at the moment. Loving the slim case.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
My two.
My word , what a stunning collection

Also the Dan Henry 1964 is pretty nice for the price.

Maybe its the big date & guilloche dial that reminds me of VC. I need to see this in real life to judge its dimensions, the annual calander additon was subtle .
