    BBQ Shed/Cover/Shelter Advice Please

    Hi,

I've just bought a Traeger Smoker to go along with my gas BBQ and I'd like to build or buy some kind of cover / Shelter to give me more of the year to use them.

I seem to remember on here there was a bbq thread that someone posted a photo of a great looking one, but a search has led to nothing.

Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations for something like this please

    Thanks
    John

My set up is next to a low garage wall off a sloped roof.

Couldn't justify some permanent awnings, but went with a retractable awning. Works fine, just not sexy as they can be.

Mine is around the side of the house in a dead space, so works fine to cover my egg....doesnt need a cover, but it keeps me dry when out there!

Would take a photo but there is a monsoon outside currently!

Now that is a COOL BBQ shelter!

However, as my side access is onlt a metre wide, I'll have to pass :)

I built this on an old oil tank concrete base with steel uprights bolted to the concrete and steel horizontal bars which I then made walls and a roof with left over building materials and a pack of tanalised planks. It was for a log store, so the roof height is low, but a similar construction using 4x4 uprights with more headroom for a BBQ etc could easily be knocked up with some basic DIY skills.

That looks like a good idea, might have to see what I can find
