Mr Curta - you were kind enough to donate when I have raised gifts etc - £10 from me for 2 x entries - and good luck with it all.

A very fine cause that I pray we will never need to benefit directly from.

Absolutely fantastic, everybody! I wondered whether running this during the summer when a lot of people are feeling a bit of a pinch or away on holiday may have been a bit of a mistake, but my concerns were unfounded. Still a couple of days to go as well.

This week there was more sad news which highlights how important the work of organisations like Young Minds is.

Amazing - it's not far off a grand donated now.

Here are some small last day additions given the fantastic response.

Carlton-Browne has provided a lovely inscribed cleaning cloth from the Deutsches Uhremmuseum Glashütte as a consolation prize.

I'm adding a brand new copy of the excellent little Jonathan Betts book on John Harrison (if you've already got it I'll come up with an alternative).

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Harrison-Jo...dp/0948065818/

And the PVD Zeno will come with this unworn Zeno baseball cap. Gramophone not included.

Laura is aiming to do the draw late tomorrow afternoon.
