As the title says, where do you source your watch straps?
I usually opt for Watchobsession.co.uk | Watchgecko.com and Hodinkee.com

Just bought a Hirsch strap for one of Lynn's watches from WatchObsession. £28.65, (£27 plus £1.65 p&p). Arrived this morning, with a manufacturers tag on with a price of £19.99!
Unreasonable mark up, won't be using them again nor recommending them.
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
I can't remember the last time I bought a strap or bracelet. Most came with watches I bought tbh.Id just look on here or post a wtb.
And Infact just the other day I went thru all the straps to put on a watch taken recent trade..(Heuer Autavia).
I have way too many.
Watchbandcenter are good.
Watchbandcenter, due to how quick they deliver.
time factors
gas gas bones - if he's open!
steveo-straps
Kriks on eBay
Crafter blue
seiya japan
and random stuff on amazon
Could anyone recommend a curved-end rubber strap?
Damasko in 20mm size.
if damasko don't do them I know Sinn 20mm rubber will fit nicely. they are expensive but you can keep a look out for them on Watchrecon or here.
some of the cheaper options (eBay, Amazon) will work but can be hit or a miss depending on how well they hug the case.
possible worth a look at Crafter blue, they do seiko and Tudor to fit but you may find a good match if you get same 20mm and same case width(to match the curve)
thing to look out for is lug hole position. the width and case dia can match but if the lug holes are set back then the strap rotates when you move your wrist.
Edit: Fortis curved rubber fits Damasko too.

The widest choice is at watchbandcenter
NATO's from UKWatchstraps.
Watchgecko and Pavstraps for me.
Watchobesession, but it was a one off, quite expensive for what it was and wasn't massively impressed.
Watchgecko recently, pretty happy with the quality so far.

Timefactors is best value for money.
With a price range of £25-35 for my straps, I always find myself ending up at watchobsession for straps. Last purchase was for my Longines Big Eye Chrono to replace the OEM strap. Bought a Rios1931 pig leather strap and was really impressed with the quality.
Tried watchgecko but aside from always being out of stock for the stuff I want, the quality wasn’t the best.
I get most of my straps on Etsy. There are so many talented craftsmen over there who can make custom straps for a very reasonable price.
The straps shown below are around €40 shipped each, completely customized. It's great if you have small wrists or need odd strap sizes.
It's also great to be personally involved in the strap making process, talking to hobbyists and artisans all over the world.

@ Skyfire
Some great straps , they look really good quality. Nice little collection you have as well
The price of £19.99 was on the manufacturers label as attached to the strap, (directly to one of the keepers), and which had to be cut off to remove prior to fitting. I'm assuming that would be the manufacturers RRP.
It's a particular strap to match one of her watches and one I've not been able to source elsewhere - I usually use local watch shops.

Yes, that's a good idea. I recently wanted a brown silicone deployment bracelet, not available from any of the normal places I buy from (even watchbandcenter who sell everything). Did a search on ebay and got one that came direct from China - cost £3! Quality fine - I imagine that most of these things are actually made in China and retailed by European firms with a huge mark-up, so you might as well go direct to the source!!
Have recently used:
Timefactors
Toxic NATOs
(both excellent quality and value)
Watch Gecko (mainly very good)
and also got a rubberised leather Di Modell (think it was the wapro) which was a bargain.
Depends on the strap TBH.
Vintager for the Panerai stuff.
eBay for some of the leather NATO's.
Rhino stuff from Eddie.
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
Some of the Cousins straps are excellent value for money, good quality and good prices, others less so. Cousins changed suppliers on one of my favourites a couple of years ago and the quality nosedived, really frustrating. As a general rule I don’t spend a lot on straps and I orefer to replace them more frequently.
Watchobsession are good, they have a very extensive range but they’re more expensive.
Some of the sellers on ebay are OK too, but they tend to come and go. I got a superb alligator pattern Omega style deployant for £25, can’t remember who the seller was but I could dig it out.
Top tip to make them last longer.....don’t wear the watch often! Treat them with a waterproofing polish, that definitely prolongs their life.
Martu is worth a look in.
WatchGecko for me every time

Probably the same as a lot on here
Watchgecko - just got a sail cloth style waterproof for my Aqua Terra
Watchobsession
Di Modell via I think watch obsession for notched straps to fit 70’s Pilot / C Shape chunky chrono’s ( MK2’, Mk4.5 etc)
Huerville for vintage rally’s
That’s it for now
Mainly Pavel on here. Neptune straps (Pav Straps). Hand made, great quality and the ability to customise.
Toshi for everyday use. But too butch for my Reverso
Martu is a good call for something different. I have a number of straps from Corrigia and they are excellent. Mays also superb but more pricey. In UK toshi are very good.
All the above more expensive than off the peg stuff but a huge step up in quality, and can be customised to suit.

Martu.
And Ebay.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
Aliexpress.
The best (ie quality, range and fast shipping):
Best in the UK - ukwatchstrap (Rios1931, Di-Modell, Fluco etc)
Hirsch - WatchObsession
Best in ROW - Watchbandcenter
Worth a mention:
Cousins (some absolute bargains, some not so good).
Globalwatchband (Florida, US) - Hadley Roma seller
Haveston - canvas straps great quality, but expensive
Waccex.de
Watchgecko used to be great. Now, only one or two worth the price and prices continue to rise.

I’ve bought a few straps from Sydney Straps recently-quite reasonably priced and very good quality.
Takes about a week for them to arrive.
From Timefactors.
Mostly Colareb for leather. Looks great and the leather is extremely comfortable.

I've bought a few straps from a guy on eBay who custom makes straps from Vegetable Tanned Italian Leather.
I have straps in black, dark blue, dark green & dark teal - they are all superb & can be totally custom made.
Only trouble is that he has just put his strap price up to £19 (incl. postage)!!
They are superb straps for the money & worth way more - especially considering the quality of leather, craftsmanship & custom service he provides.

They don’t just do NATO’s. Great range of leather, suede, rubber etc
Better still they are all comfortable, look great and even better value.
As an all round strap supplier for reasonable prices they are the best I have come across in all my years collecting.
James
Another vote for Colareb for me, fantastic leather straps, good customer service and very good value in my opinion.

I've had Pav make most of my current leather straps, they're very nicely finished and good value IMO. NATO's I usually source from Timefactors or Watchobsession. And the odd Erikas here or there for good measure.
