    Blancpain anyone?

Recent thread and the gorgeous piece on SC had me thinking, maybe it is time to add one to the collection. I had a fifty fathom which was a daily wearer and it is built like a tank. Time for something a bit different.

I managed to pick this up and it is very thin. Impressive power reserve too.

It is 40 mm. Another picture for those who asked.

OP, that is such a lovely piece. And even at 40mm wears well on your wrist.
You have got me looking at this baby - the new blue dial Ultraplate. I think it would be a nice combo with the red gold FF.

Villerets have quite a bit of choice if all the cases somewhat rhyme.. I kicked myself for ages after missing a white dial version of what I later found in black thus:

(Apparently one of about 500 from Biver era.. - a very breathed on peseux 7001..)
