    The difference a splash of colour makes!

    I've been wearing this on the stock bracelet since arrival;

    As much as the bracelet is nice (But a little quirky!) I fancied a splash of colour..

    Well, here we go;

    And I must say, i think this is staying on the Nato.. The difference a splash of colour makes! :)

    I just did something I thought I'd never do and stuck my Explorer2 on an Erica's Original. I think it looks superb, albeit a tiny bit less subtle than the black NATO it was on.

    Thank you. I've been a bit embarrassed by all the increasing prices and as a result profiteering going on because Rolex are restricting supply, and this just makes it a bit fun to wear again. Possibly silly rather than fun.

    I wore this one on an Isofrane when I owned it.
    A yellow one would look great on it.

    Funny you that, as I was looking at a yellow Isofrane copy from Cousins.

    I only decided to go against it as the strap looks to be thicker than the swivel link lugs..

    I may just try one though. :)

    Very much so. :)

    The Swiss flag has been rocking this colour scheme for centuries.. I'm liking it. ;)

    (But I have just orded 2 more NATO's.. One in Orange and the other, Colbalt Blue.)

    Could be that without the bracelet, it can just be appreciated as a really nice looking watch, rather than a ‘Rolex’.

    I take it the Explorer is a 20mm lug width?

    Yes, it's extremely comfortable.

    I may switch back to the bracelet eventually, but i'm really enjoying it on the Nato for now.

    Yes. I think the bracelet tapers down to 16mm, which I like, but it somehow makes the watch too heavy and it digs into the back of my hand. I've been surprised at how good this Erica's Original is, extremely comfortable and it means I can wear the watch again.

    cheers Foxy, I was never a nato/zulu 'style' fan always preferred leather or bracelet, I got an Erika for my black bay GMT and have to agree they make for a good fit

    OP must have it on a 20mm as that is the only size the orange Erika is available, looks fine

    Well I too had the idea of adding a bit of colour to my watches and recently fancied a bit of orange (common theme from above)

    I finally picked up an Erika's Original strap, the old style for fixed lugs. It is stupid expensive for what it is (some stretchy material and a couple of stamped bits of metal) but also supremely comfortable and I like that I can wear a CWC without the strap passing behind the case.

    There are a number of Rolex with that odd lug size, including the ym2 and other 44mm case references IIRC.

    😁
    Don't remember these drug lords from Predator.
    I thought this strap may look too busy, but it works actually quite a well with the watch, especially when lumed markers have a greenish hue on them.

    The difference a splash of colour makes!

    It’s all about the right colours!

    Love that orange rubber on the Oris, might try that on this one!
