    Safe for the home

For the guys who have a safe in their houses. What sort of model spec did you go for and what sort of price did you find you had to pay to get one that felt safe with

There's a forum member who's 'in the business', can't remember who it is though.

£4000 Cash/£40,000 Valuables rating was sufficient for my purposes and for a say a 35 litre capacity safe you'd be looking around £350+ with another £80-100 on top for delivery and installation.

    Thanks for the replies.

After getting things stolen from my room on holiday I am looking to securing a few items around the home a bit better.

Ive just sourced a vintage safe for a friend - I got it via Facebook Marketplace - a big hearty thing with a couple of shelves - and importantly a key!

Total cost £100 - and it was cool kit - these no way anybody could carry it away or get into it - old school.

Plenty of them about and fire resistant obvs etc

Also what I went for in terms for limits. Paid 200 for mine. Note that was a key model. Pin was more.

    Try safe.co.uk

Many varieties available. They also match prices and double difference if you find cheaper.
