Enjoy your rounded S, never heard that before.
Long story short... I chased a 16610 for a friend... couldn't find a proper one (with holes and no rehaut engraving) and then he literally bought my Sub off my wrist.
So I had to buy a new one... same as the old one. K-Serial 2001. Funny thing is that my old one was K-serial too but it had "Flat S". This has rounded "S" on SUBMARINER.
My fourth Sub. I've also owned a 14060 and 16613 back in the day.
What a boring watch... you've seen it million times before.... but hey... it's the most iconic watch ever. :D

Yeah it kinda goes to "super nerd" territory. It's just that Rolex produced the dials with different font sometimes.

Very nice!
Great picture, I'm on my fourth Sub, fifth if I include a 116600 I sold and still regret.
I’ve had mine for 4 years now and wouldn’t be without it.
I hope that Rolex return to the correct case shape for the next Submariner.

How much are these now? I have a Kermit that after 10 years wear has been given a rest in the safe and is only for special occasions.
Here's my P-serial w/ flat S. Owned from new since 2001, SELs, lugholes and plain rehaut, serviced once, never polished. The most dependable thing, still a firm favourite and it looks like new from a couple of feet away, even though it's covered in tiny scratches. This started my watch collecting hobby, and it would be the last to go.
