    How do you decide

I'm really wanting to add a Sinn U1 to my watch wearing experience.

Up until now I've mainly been hoarding Seikos but to add a Sinn some of the Seikos need to be put on the chopping block.

Trouble is deciding what stays and what goes.

So over to the masses....how do you guys make the decision??

If I'm thinking about selling one I wear it for a few days and see if my opinion changes or not.

Put it/them out of sight for a few weeks. If during that time you don’t think about/wear it then move it on!

Just buy the new watch and you'll soon know which seikos to sell when your wife is viciously helping you by selecting every watch in the box regardless of value.

Wear it for a week. Then over the next few weeks if you don’t find yourself wanting to reach for it. It’s gone. This has worked great for me up the Speedie and that was more tricky for me to part with. But it still went.

Yeah there are a couple in the box that I just never really wear I like them but I always end up choosing something else so I guess they are safe to move on

This works for me. After this time I also wear it for a day or two just to be sure.

Sometimes I don't need to go through that process at all, I just know I'm not feeling a particular watch.

Does some aspect of a watch bother you while wearing it? I will get rid of such watches.
