    heuer autavia and panerai 753

OK, so toying with getting a new watch ,the 2 that catch my eye are the heuer 02 cbe2111 limited edition(or the black one) or a panerai 753.
Has anyone got or had either of these? if so care to let me know your opinions plus/minus. Could the heuer be purchased for less than 3k now its been out a while.Same for the panerai,i know the 753 is snap back ,shame, but i think I could live with it if I found one at a good price

Is it possible to get a pre owned pam 380 or 210 instead? I think they cost less than 753 and offer more for the £££ spent

I had a PAM 753 and it was a lovely, really lovely watch.

It isn’t snap back - I thought it was, but spoke to PANERAI and it isn’t snap back, it’s screw, see below.

    20% achievable off the PAM

Adam, might be in touch after trip ;-) .Are you sure its not snap back or another phrase that sounds more technical than snap/push fit?

I think the technical term is driven caseback which is basically a fancy name of snapback

Although not the greatest decision from Panerai, I wouldn’t worry too much of the snap backs. My PAM 631 has snap back, therefore it’s only WR 100m. But all PAM models I love so far are only 100m regardless they have snap or screw in back. (372 for example.) So what’s the difference in the end of the day?

This old 111 have 300m WR though...

Older luminors do have 300m wr,while radiomir do have only 100m wr

Go for the Panerai £3600 and you can buy it on interest free credit, the 753 design like many others will be a classic design for ever
